We're honored to have this opportunity to share a little bit of our history with you! Over the years we've been through a lot of changes, but throughout the many experiences that have shaped us into the dealership we are today we've never lost our focus on what has made us great - namely our unwavering commitment to customer service.

In 1982, John Zubor was able to realize his long held dream of opening his own auto dealership. Zubor Buick opened in the former Walker Buick facility in Lincoln Park, Michigan in November of that year. Many downriver residents still remember the unique slogan, "What's A Zubor?" that began appearing on billboards, license plate frames, and newspaper advertisements. They would soon find the answer as Zubor began to spread the word of Buick buying satisfaction throughout the downriver area.

After many years as a downriver auto Salesperson and Dealership Manager, and a lifelong resident of the downriver area, Zubor was very successful in bringing his many old customers and acquaintances to his new dealership. "My motto has always been, we're big enough to get the job done well and small enough to be friendly," Zubor said at the time. "I know that some things can't be accomplished overnight, but we're sure trying!"

As their success continued, Zubor, now joined by his son Michael, bought Harvey Buick on Telegraph Road in Taylor and combined the two dealerships. The new Zubor Buick continued to build on the successful legacies established in the original facility and their base of satisfied customers continued to grow.

Although the car business may have changed, Zubor's philosophies have remained the same. "I still believe that the most important thing is the customer. We keep striving, every day, to make sure that every customer who comes in is a happy customer, and for the most part we accomplish that goal."

The dealership continues to generate an aura of good feelings in its customers and employees. The pride of their accomplishments and the appreciation of their customers that has brought them this far continues to be the driving force that moves them into the future!
